Biography

Nancy Elizabeth Corn was born on July 1st,1848, and she would marry Ransom Calvin Smith (1847-1918) on December 20th, 1866. The couple would have nine known children together. Ransom is the son of John Fageon Smith and Sarah Fuller (1824-1908). Sarah Fuller is the daughter of Ransom Fuller (1797-1852) and Nancy Love (1798-1870). Nancy Elizabeth Corn Smith would die on December 12th, 1914, and Ransom Calvin Smith would die on April 25th, 1918. Ransom and Elizabeth Smith are both buried at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Habersham County, Georgia.
