Biography

Jacob and his twin sister Rachel were baptized on 5 July 1697 by a domine of the Hackensack Reformed Dutch Church. They were we recorded as children of Cornelis Epke and Jannetie Epke. The baptism took place in the house of Dirck Epke. Witnesses were Johannes Meyer, Angnitie Strijkers, and Ester, the wife of Dirck Epke.

Banta-298 and Banta-259 appear to represent the same person because: This is the infant who died before 1702. No tree conflicts. Do not merge the later Jacob, born 1702. Thanks!
