In the 1870 census he is listed as Andrew, father of 6 month old baby Francis. Living in Laurel County, Ky. with no wife. There is a 24 year old housekeeper named Martha Cornelius. perhaps this is Martha "Patsy" Parker.
My grandmother told me that his nickname was "Acey". Another family member, Annetta Cornelius-1757, who is from a different branch said that her grandmother told her his nickname was "Big Andy". It seems that Andrew Cornelius may have had nicknames where ever he went. (Meece-70)
Andrew is located in Jackson county an the Cornelius/Baldwin Cemetery. (Annetta Cornelius-1757)
