Biography

Oliver Couch was born in Sandisfield, Massachusetts, in 1782, the son of Samuel and Huldah (Granger) Couch.[1] He was the oldest of 11 children.

He married Nancy Marsh, the daughter of Isaac and Lucy (Smith) Marsh, in 1806.[2] They had at least one child:

  • Mary Etta, 1811-1881; marr. Joel Franklin Hitchcock; moved to Ohio

A tree on FamilySearch.org says he died in 1850 but offers no source.[3]
