Occupation

  • Laborer

Research Notes

  • Birth record of 2nd daughter lists her name as Sarah A., born November 4, 1858. Sarah A. is not found in the 1860 US Census, but a Mary A. listed as 1 year old is. The 1870 US Census lists an Annie, age 11, and another younger daughter, Mary, age 4. No birth record found for Annie S. If Sarah died young, and possibly a twin with Annie, why is there no birth record for Annie. I believe Sarah A. and Annie S. are the same person, and after birth was quickly named Annie and not Sarah. The middle names, other than initial, for both Sarah and Annie have not be found.
