She was the daughter of Charles Christopher Courtenay, 17th Earl of Devon and Sybil Venetia Taylor. Lady Katherine Felicity Courtenay was born on 22 October 1940. She married Antony Stephen Pope Watney, son of John Lewis Watney, on 8 January 1966
