Sarah Ann CRAMP was born in 1847 in Newington St Mary, Surrey, England[1]. Her parents were John CRAMP and Elizabeth KING.
1851, 4 year old Sarah CRAMP was living in High Street, Gravesend, Kent, England with her parents, John (age 39, Butcher) and Elizabeth (41) and siblings, John (12), Joseph (10) and Thomas (8)[2]
The ship, Duke of Bedford set sail from London, England (via Plymouth) on 5 November 1852 with the CRAMP family among the passengers and arrived in
Hobson's Bay, Colony of Victoria on 4 February 1852[3][4]. The CRAMP family were contracted to arrive in Adelaide, Colony of South Australia however the newspapers of the day list the family as disembarking at Hobson's Bay, Colony of Victoria. The family consisted of parents, John (age 37, Butcher) and Elizabeth (37) and their surviving children, John (12), Joseph (10), Thomas (8) and Sarah (3).
Hugh Dillon CADDEN and Sarah Ann CRAMP were married on 19 June 1869 in South Brisbane, Colony of Queensland[5]
CADDEN—CRAMP.—On the 19th June, at South Brisbane, by the Rev. Charles Ogg, Hugh Dillon, eldest surviving son of the late Robert Cadden, to Sarah Anne, only daughter of John Cramp, both of Melbourne.
FARLEY- On October 18, at 13 Glenferrie road, Kew, Sarah Ann, widow late William James Farley, aged 94 (Privately interred.)
