Phillip Crane (aged 20-24) was living with his brother William (aged 30-34) in Park Street, West Side, in the Parish of St Olive, Cheshire, in the registration district of Great Broughton. according to the 1841 Census.[2]
In the 1851 census Phillip Crane is listed as an unmarried 30 year old licensed victualler. He is the head of the household living in Swan Street, Manchester, Lancashire.[3]
