Silvanus Crosby, son of Eleazer and Patience (Freeman) Crosby, was born in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts on 15 November 1712. He was baptized on 13 September 1724. He presumably died prior to 4 November 1739, the birth of a younger half-brother, also named Silvanus.
