Biography
Marie Catherine Cusson was born 14 April 1720, daughter of Jean Baptiste Cusson and Marguerite Rochereau; and was baptized at St-François-de-Sales, Île Jésus, the same day—her godparents were Louis Jolycœur and Barbe Depatis.[1] M. Catherine Cusson died at Mascouche, 28 June 1800, aged 82, veuve de François Renaud vivant cultivateur; and was buried in the cemetery of St-Henri de Mascouche, 30 June 1800, in the presence of Charles Bethelot."[2]
She married at St-Charles de Lachenaie, 13 November 1741, François Renaud, son of Michele Renaud and Marie Renée Reaume. The witnesses were Michel Renaud, Joseph Renaud, Pierre Guillebault, Jean-Baptiste Cusson, and Antoine Cusson.[3]
