Pierre was born about 1738 in Beauséjour.

Pierre Syre, son of the late Pierre Syre and the late Anne Poirier of the parish of Beausejour in L’Acadie, and Marie Charlotte Ysoir, widow of the late François Toupin of this parish, were married 26 Apr 1763 in the parish of Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité-de-Beauport, Beauport, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Syre-24 and Cyr-1154 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Wife was Marie Charlotte Isoire dite Provençal. Pierre was born in Acadia, the correct surname is Cyr.
