Biography
Augustin Côté was born on August 11, 1791 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Province de Québec, son of François Coté (1752–1809) and Françoise Morisset (1756–1830).[1]
Augustin (22) married Marie Louise Brodeur (17) (born on October 11, 1796 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Bas-Canada; daughter of Pierre Brodeur and Marie Louise Lecompte) on February 14, 1814 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Bas-Canada. [2]Their son was Louis Raymond Côté (1828– ).
Augustin died on November 30, 1859 in Sainte-Rosalie, Canada-Est, aged 68.[3]
