Anastasie de St Castin was born about 1685 in Penobscot, which is present day Maine. She was the daughter of Jean Vincent St. Castin and Matilde. She was married on the same day as her half-sister Therese. She married Alexandre Le Borgne de Belisle, son of Alexandre de Belisle and Marie de St. Etienne 4 December 1707 at Pentagouet. The bride signed her name Anastasie de St Castin and her brother signed, Anselme de St Castin.[1][2][3] (see archive.org)

Today, the fourth of December of the current year 1707, after granting the dispensation of three marriage banns according to the powers vested in me by His Grace the most distinguished and venerable Bishop of Québec, I received per verba de praesenti the mutual consent of marriage of Alexandre Le Borgne de Belle Isle, son of Alexandre de Belle Isle, Esquire, Seigneur in part of Acadia, and of Lady Marie de St-Étienne, and of Miss Anastasie de St-Castin, daughter of Baron Vincent de St-Castin and of Dame Melchide[Melchilde?], in the presence of the undersigned witnesses.
