DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
Dagg-218 and Dagg-44 do not represent the same person because: There is another DNA connection via me with William James Dagg (Dagg 218) and the Tipperary Daggs (Not Enrique Treat) but in my opinion there's no evidence to prove that 218 and 44 are the same person. 218 was married in London England to a Sarah White (not the same one - Sarah Ardell was almost 20 years younger than William Dagg 218) 218 had a living son William David 44 had a living son William Henry. I think there is a connection but it may be a generation or more further back - but have yet to prove the actual connection. For this reason I will not be merging

Dagg-218 and Dagg-44 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, married to the same woman, fathers have the same names, sons have the same names.
