Biography
Dinah was born in in Concord, Mass on 25 Apr 1709[1]. She is the daughter of Joseph Dakin and Dorothy Worcester. She is the wife of Samuel Mead who she married in 1728.
The children of Samuel Mead and Dinah (Dakin) Mead:
- Hannah Mead, b. 10 Apr 1729 at Littleton, Mass.,
- Rebecca Mead, b. Dec 1731 at Littleton, Mass, m Joshua Haynes (of Sudbury) at Harvard, Mass on 4 Jan 1750[2]'
- Samuel Mead Jr., b 18 Jun 1732 at Harvard, Mass
- B(e)ulah Mead, b. 24 Mar 1733/34 at Harvard, Mass; m. James Burt at Harvard, Mass on 3 Dec 1754[3].
She passed away on 26 Nov 1754 at Harvard, Mass at the age of 44[4].
