Biography

Melvina was born in 1844. She is the daughter of James Danforth and Martha Johnson.[1]

Melvina Danforth was enumerated at Thirty-first District, Forsyth County, Georgia for the October 18, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1844 in Georgia. She was marked as attending school within the last year as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James Danforth, female Martha Danforth, male Albert Danforth, male Fredrick Danforth, female Elizabeth Danforth and male James J Danforth.[2]
