Biography

Eleanor, daughter of Joseph Daniel and his unknown first wife, was born on 1 Feb 1785 at Granville County, NC. She died on 3 October 1866 at Chester County, SC.[1]

Eleanor married Martin Kee on 7 August 1804 in Granville County, North Carolina. Bondsman with Martin was Lesley Gilliam.[2]

The 1810 census of Chester, Chester, South Carolina listed Martin Key with 4 males under 10, 1 male 26-44, 1 female under 10, 1 female 16-25, and 3 slaves.[3]

The 1850 census of Chester, SC, listed Eleanor Ree (65, b. NC) in the household of Matthew and Emily Lynn.[4]

The 1860 census of Coats Tarvern, York, SC, listed Eleaner Kee (75, domestic, b. Granville NC) in the household of John and Martha M Culp.[5]
