Biography

Margaret's husband John Rodgers wrote that Margaret's grandfather "Dougherty" immigrated to America with the John Caldwell family. [1]

Margaret was born in 1748. She passed away in 1808. == Margaret Dougherty was mentioned in her father’s Will as wife of John Rodgers == In John Rodgers letter to his cousin he made mention of his brother-in-law who had been a clerk in the lower House of Congress.
