Biography
Edward Jackson Tadlock is the younger brother to Nancy Tadlock b 1813 TN. She married Ward Smith Thomas in Jackson Co., IN 1833 and moved on to Marion Co., IL. I have a copy of their marriage certificate. I also believe that Nancy's parents are Thomas Tadlock & Catherine David [or Davis] Edward Jackson Tadlock b. ca 1821-1822 TN, d. Jul 1859 Prairie Point (Rhome) Wise County, TX. He married Jane Elizabeth Chapman in IL?. Living in Marion County, IL 1850, moved to Wise County, TX bet 1855-1857. Had the following children: Martha J., Mary Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Richard Marion, John Chapman, Nancy Louisa, and Edward Jackson, Jr. Believe he is the same Edward J. Tadlock that was with Richard Tadlock, executors of Green Tadlock's will of Marion County, IL.
