Biography

Thomas Davies was born in about 1840 in Knotty Ash, Lancashire.

Thomas married Mary (Fox) Davies on 22 Feb 1864 at Christ Church in Eccleston, Lancashire. Both were living in Eccleston. Thomas was a 24-year-old blacksmith who hadn't been married before, Mary was a 28-year-old widow. Their fathers were named as John Davies (blacksmith) and John Fox (labourer). The witnesses were James Birchall and Mary Birchall.
