Sarah was born on 30d 6m 1754 [30 Jun 1754] in Dutchess, New York Colony.[1] She was the daughter of Henry Davis Jr. and Sarah (Bowdy) Davis.[1]
She married Joseph Everett Sr. on 18 Apr 1773 in Gnadenhutten, Mahoney, Pennsylvania.
Sarah was baptized as an adult of 20 years old on 18 Sep 1774 at the Moravian Church in Gnadenhutten, Pennsylvania. She was a sponsor at a baptism for Hiram Walton, but was absent by reason of sickness on 1 Nov 1807.
She died on 15 Oct 1813 in Gnadenhutten, Tuscarawas, Ohio.
The following is Sarah's obituary from the Church Book of the Brethren's Congregation in Beersheba, Ohio.:
Departed October 16, 1813; was buried October 17, 1813. Sarah Elizabeth Everett, a married woman, her maiden name was Davis, age 59 years, 1 month, and 16 days. She was born 30 August in the year of our Lord, 1754 in Dutchess County, New York State. Her parents belonged to the Society of Friends; they thereafter joined the United Brethren's Church and moved in 1770, to Gnadenhutten, on the Mahony, in Pennsylvania. Here she was Baptized on the 18 September, 1773 and became soon after a partaker of the Holy Sacrament. On the 18 April 1779, she was married to Joseph Everett, a single man, with whom she had 10 children, viz. 7 sons and 3 daughters. In the year of 1803, she came to this State of Ohio, and in 1805 to Beersheba.
