The probate documents for Elizabeth Steele show that she kept some of the enslaved people who were part of her husband Abner Steele's estate. They are mentioned in the doctor's bills which were submitted to the executors for reimbursement:

Page 18 of the papers shows that the "Sale of Slaves" on 21 Dec 1854 brought $7,410 to the estate. There is no paperwork that lists the people who were sold or the purchasers.
