Martha was a daughter of Jabez Dean and Jedidah (Allen) Dean, born 27 January 1747/8 in Norwich, Connecticut.[1]
Jacob DeWitt of Norwich, Connecticut, son of Henry de Wit and Maria ten Broek, married Martha Dean, also of Norwich, in Norwich in November 1768. [2][3]
