Where was your Catherine Dean born?

I have a few renditions of her name.

Stephanie Bullard Ferguson (Bullards of Georgetown, Exuma & McCartneys of Savannah Sound and Tarpum Bay Eleuthera)

Hi Stephanie... I thank you for trying to assist and I apologise for only now responding... I had been away from my research on my family for a number of years now and only very recently picked it back up. I recently found a Catherine Dean Scavella who relocated to Crooked Island with her husband Vernon Scavella that seems to match up with my Catherine Dean...

Hi Tame.

I came across this name while researching my McCartney Family from Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera: Katherine Mary Dean b.1843 d. 1893? Hope it helps.

Hi Tame, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the Bahamas project, (currently led/coordinated by Peter Roberts to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!

Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!

Tame, I was looking at your tag, and I'd like to suggest that you change it so that you have one tag for each surname and location. By doing that, you can then click on those tags, and you'll be taken to a page where you'll see other genealogists who are also following those surnames and locations.

I really encourage you to explore the connections it helps you make. :-)

Hi Tame,

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering.

Don't forget to ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.

In case you haven't seen it, our G2G Question of the week is: What's on your genealogical bucket list?

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

Have Fun!

Hi Tame,

A warm welcome to WikiTree, a genealogy site different than any other! You should have received an email from us with helpful links to get started.

Our goal is to have one single profile per person so that we have ONE big family tree and we collaborate together to make that happen.

Each volunteer at WikiTree adds to the collaborative tree at their own pace, there are no minimum requirements for time or entry.

When you volunteer, you indicate your interests by adding tags and comments and then one of our Greeters will confirm your membership.

Please check out our question of the week: What's on your genealogical bucket list?

Welcome to the family!
