Biography

Phillip Harry Deets was the oldest of four children born to Nellie Lutsey and Harry Deets. On 7 Jun 1924 he married Grace VanFossen at West Nanticoke, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, and Rev. F. H. Moyer performed the wedding ceremony.^[1] The couple had four children:

• Ruth Deets
• Carl Ralph Deets
• Edward Philip Deets
• Marlene M. Deets

He worked as an auto mechanic and owned a garage. After Grace died, he married Anna M. Fine.^[2] He died in Apr 1976 in Wapwallopen, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. He is buried in Stairville Cemetery, Dorrance Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.^[3]
