Biography
This Thankful Denison was born 1714 in Preston, New London County, Connecticut. She was the ninth child of Mary Avery & William Denison.
She was christened 29 Jan 1727 at First Church of Preston, New London County, Connecticut.
She married Joseph Billings 10 Nov 1737 at Preston, Connecticut. They had at least 3 children:
- Comfort Billings; b. 24 Sep 1740; married Jonas Hewitt
- Sarah (Billings) Edwards; b. 15 Jan 1746
- Nathan Billings; b. 09 Jan 1748
The death date of Thankful (Denison) Billings is not clearly evident. Inferences based upon her non-appearance in her husband's will, which was generated 10 November 1797, indicate that she probably passed away before that date.
