Biography
Antoine Deschênes was born on 25 May 1842 and baptized on 14 Jul 1842 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, the son of Antoine Deschênes and Marie Ross.[1] His godparents were Hilaire Girouard and Agnès Bastarache.
In the 1851 census Anthony, age 10, was in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick with his parents and siblings.[2]
In the 1871 census Antony, age 27, was in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick with his mother Mary and siblings Joseph, Fardenand, Charles, and Henry.[3]
