Born 25 SEP 1818. Pitteris, Parish of Craig, Forfarshire, Scotland. Note: The Craig parish register recorded that "Charles Deuchar and Ann Davidson at Pitteris had a child born 25th September and baptized 1st October named Elizabeth.". [6][7][8][9]

Died 26 JAN 1889. Clay County, Minnesota. [10]

Event: Widowed 05 JAN 1860. Her husband had died of a "fever," possibly the complications of Huntington's Disease.

Census: 1861 Crudie Acres, Parish of Arbirlot, Forfarshire, Scotland. Note: "So much of the Parish of Arbirlot, that lies bounded on the East by the Parishes of Arbroath & St. Vigeans; South by the Sea, North by the Parishes of St. Vigeans & Carmyllie; West by Wormiehills, Peasiehill & Newton Roads." The house had 2 rooms with 1 or more windows. Ann, Margaret, and James were not enumerated with the family.[13] 1871 22 Fergus Street, St. Vigeans, Arbroath, Forfarshire, Scotland. [14] 01 MAY 1885. Probate: 02 NOV 1891. Clay County, Minnesota. Note: Charles Lamb was the executor and assigned the whole estate to heir Charles Lamb, Jr. It consisted of the West half of the North East quarter and the West half of the South East quarter of Section 20, Township 138N of Range 46 West of the 5th Principal Meridian. No mention was made in the probate of personal property.[17]

Note: Not clear whether contracted in Craig or Rescobie.[18] Marriage 02 DEC 1837. Rescobie, Forfarshire, Scotland. [19] Marriage 16 DEC 1837. Parish of Craig, Forfarshire, Scotland. Note: The Craig parish register recorded that "John Lamb of the parish of Roscobie & Elisebeth Deuchar of this parish were matrimonially contracted on the 1st of December & having been Thrice proclaimed were married on the 16th of December." It is not clear whether the wedding was performed in Craig or Rescobie.[20][21] Census: 1841 the Farm of Acres, Parish of Arbirlot, Forfarshire, Scotland. Note: Their census district was "Bounded on the N. by Parishes of St. Vigeans and Carmyllie, on the S. by the Arbirlot and Arbroath Road. On the E. by the Parishes of St. Vigeans & Arbroath, and on the W. by the water of Elliot, comprehending the Village of Arbirlot and the following farm towns with Cottar Houses vizt [?] Broomhill, Crudrie, Fairnyknow, Acres, Bankhead, Lochaber, Newton, Cuthlie, Sitsendrie [?] & Denhead." The family was enumerated with Isobel Findlay, age 10. Their farm was referred to as "Farmers Acres" in Cooks and Kin.[22][23]
