"Johann Dietrich , son of Adam, the emigrant, was born on his father's farm in Greenwich township, Jan. 7, 1779. He engaged in farming in that same district, not far from Dietrich's mill, on a farm consisting of upward of 100 acres. He died upon his place July 28, 1830, aged fifty-one years, six months, twenty-one days, and is buried at the Grimville church. In 1807 he married Elizabeth Ohl, who survived him many years, and they became the parents of thirteen children, as follows: John, Reuben, Samuel, Anna Maria, born 1809; Jonas; Hanna, born 1812; Benjamin, born 1813; David, Eva, Daniel (1828-1834); Joseph, Esther, and Catharine." (Roberts 1914. vol II p 265)

These children of Johann and Elizabeth Dietrich were baptized in New Bethel or Stone Church, Grimville, Greenwich Township, Berks, Pennsylvania, per Pennsylvania Births and Christenings (1709-1950):

Dietrich-2502 and Dietrich-807 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates

Dietrich-2502 and Dietrich-807 are not ready to be merged because: Dietrich-2502 was born much earlier than 1779, and is probably the same person as Dietrich-1161 -- they both had a son named Peter born 18 Sep 1797 (or 1798). in Botetourt VA. Little is known about Dietrich-807 (born 1779) but it is unnlikely he left PA and moved to VA. This needs some more work to untangle these men.
