Biography

The son of John Dixon Sr and Evarine (Buck) Dixon, John Dixon was born in Dalhart, Texas^{[citation needed]} in 1914,^[1] residing there with his family.^[2][3] John Dixon married Frances Josephine Kirk (1911-1994), the daughter of Frank Kirk and Sylvia Kristufek, marrying on Christmas Day of 1933.^{[citation needed]}

They made their home in Phoenix, Arizona, where John worked as a buyer at a retail grocery store.^[4] By 1950, John worked in Phoenix as a farm produce commission merchant.^[5] He later moved to Peoria, Arizona,^[6] retiring to Sun City, Arizona.

John Dixon passed away in Sun City, Arizona^[7][8] at the age of 93 and is buried at Green Acres Memorial Park in Scottsdale, Arizona.^[9]
