Hugo was living during the reign of Henry IV which was from 1399-1413. I think that his birth during 1430 was a typo. It may have been 1413. That would have made his father 18 at his birth and he would have been 22 when William was born. That solves the dating issues but that same record has different wives for Hugo, his father, , son and grandson.
