Betty Watts remembers visiting in 1935. Grandma Miller would read to her and Alice in her tent every evening. She would hike with them to collect wildflowers. She and Sol were great dancers and won many awards. They lived in Hardin after Sol lost their property gambling. She was always fit and Betty remembers her doing the splits with Joan.
