Anna was the daughter of Gatewood Dunn and Martha Swanson. She was married to William Tuggle.
Her father Gatewood's estate passed probate on 23 September 1825 in Oglethorpe, Georgia, United States.[1]

Ann was married to William Tuggle. William's will was written 24 June 1858 in Greene, Georgia, United States. It was registered in 1861. A copy was filed with Ann's probate in 1866.[2] Among the provisions of his will he bequeathed to Ann "...the following negroes (Viz) Emily and her children and their increase, Mary and her children and their increase, Lee, Annaca, Amanda and their increase, Hampton, Hall, Greene, Joe and Little John. I also give to her during her natural life, a negro man named Lewis, and at her death, to my daughter Martha Culbreath..."
She passed away in 1864.
