Laurence Brent Durtschi was born on March 11, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alfred Durtschi (Durtschi-12) and Mary Sadie (Spanton) Durtschi. (Spanton-285)
Laurence was called Brent by most.
Brent Married Carole E. Mathewson on November 2, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States.
They had one daughter Carole Lynne Durtschi and two sons Larry Brent Durtschi, ( his wife, Roxane); and Major Michael Scott Durtschi, (his wife, Doi):
Brent was the family Catalyst who loved family BBQ"s and was a great Cook. He enjoyed crossword Puzzles, golfing, fishing, and being in the outdoors. He also loved to tease everyone.
Brent retired after 30 years of service at the Kennecott Smelter.
L. Brent Durtchi 63, passed away on Friday, September 18, of a heart attack in Salt Lake City. Brent was buried in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Millcreek, Salt Lake County, Utah United States.
His obituaries were published in the Salt Lake Tribune, the Desert News: and the Post Register.
