DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

DuVall-6 and Duvall-2193 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates. Same dates of birth and death.

While much more needs to be researched, there is some connection between him and that of the family of Seth Basye (1814-1891) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Basye-161 DNA tests has shown numerous DNA Matches, More than a dozen, between his descendants and the descendants of Seth Basye. However the exact connection at this time is unknown. Though I have a couple of ideas. Any further questions, email me at [email address removed]

Duvall-1667 and DuVall-6 appear to represent the same person because: Despite the slight variation in the spelling of the last name, they appear to be the same person.

Last name should be Duvall instead of DuVall. This should reflect the same last name as his parents.
