While much more needs to be researched, there is some connection between him and that of the family of Seth Basye (1814-1891) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Basye-161 DNA tests has shown numerous DNA Matches, More than a dozen, between his descendants and the descendants of Seth Basye.
