Biography

Ida M. Echols was born October 14, 1860 to James Walter Echols, Sr. and Mary Ann Whitehead in Tuskegee, Alabama.^[1]

She married John Penn Breedlove on November 29, 1882 in Tuskegee, Alabama.^[2] Their children were:

1. Sallie Mae Breedlove ^[3]
2. Elizabeth Rebecca Breedlove ^[4]
3. John Penn Breedlove Jr.
4. William Abernathy Breedlove ^[5]
5. Madison Bolling Breedlove ^[6]

She died, at the age of 66, on April 12, 1927 in Notasulga, Alabama.^[1] She is buried at the Tuskegee City Cemetery in Tuskegee, Alabama.^[7]

Research Notes

Ida married her sisters husband after Sallie died. I am trying to find a relative still living that knows the story.
