Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1572/3 in Sudbury, Suffolk. England, the daughter of Thomas Eden.[1]

She died in February 1626/7 in Mottingham, Kent,[3]
Research Notes
Currently attached to wrong father - research in progress. I'm removing the parents Henry Edon (abt.1514-1546) and Elizabeth (Heigham) Kempe (1525-1559) as these are the wrong parents and wrong generation. This profile seems to have started out as someone completely different unfortunately.
A short history of the borough of Sudbury, in the county of Suffolk, compiled from materials collected by W.W. Hodson by Sperling, Charles Fredirick Denne, 1861-; Hodson, W. W. (William Walter), d. 1894 Publication date 1896 Publisher Sudbury, Printed by B.R. Marten
In the Will of her father, she was not mentioned but was a witness. Presumably she had already had a marriage settlement, though nothing has been found to date.[4][5]Whitehouse-2064 07:03, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
Previous notes: Elizabeth was born about 1550. She was the sister of Thomas Eden of Suffolk, who was in the military. She married Nicholas Stoddard, who was in the military, second son of George Stoddard of London. [6]

Please can we change her Last name at birth to Eden as per the sources. Thanks!
Gill
Patrick Griffith's comment prompted me to look further. There was an Elizabeth Eden christened 24 Mar 1572 at Sudbury, Suffolk, England. (Elizabeth Eden, Vital • England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBZ7-JX4?from=lynx1UIV8&treeref=M9VJ-76V)
That Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Eden (1540-1614) and possibly Elizabeth St. Clere (1550-1595). (Thomas and Elizabeth, Vital • England Marriages, 1538–1973: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NLMP-GQD?from=lynx1UIV8&treeref=9VTK-L1F)
ELIZABETH #2
Nicholas Stoddard did marry an Elizabeth Eden. (Nicholas Stoddar, Vital • England Marriages, 1538–1973: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NLMC-YMW?from=lynx1UIV8&treeref=9Z62-4MC) "The Stoddard Family" by Francis Russell Stoddard, Jr., stated Nicholas married the daughter of Thomas Eden. It claims Nicholas was a soldier and married the daughter of a soldier. (Pgs 10-11: https://archive.org/details/stoddardfamilybe00stod/page/10/mode/1up?view=theater)
Elizabeth #1 and #2 both have a father named Thomas. Are they the same person?
ELIZABETH EDEN #3
There is also an Elizabeth Eden who married Daniel Bettenham of Pluckinge in Kent and had a son and heir John Bettenham. (appendix 3D: https://archive.org/details/visitationofsuff01harv/page/312/mode/2up). She was the daughter of Henry Edon/Eden. Although FamilySearch can have persistent massive errors, it does have sources: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KZNT-WDP
Also, I tried to edit the name "Haddon" from this profile and couldn't do it. Could someone with the ability do that, please?
Instead, she married Daniel Bettenham.

Not sure where the surname Haddon is from
