Acknowledgement

Many of the dates and relationships of the Edkins family who arrived in the Cape in 1820 were recorded by Amy Binfield Dixie who died in 1976. A bare outline tree was constructed by Jack Edkins (son of this Stanford). Now more resources for South Africa are available, it is possible to check them but the data is still sketchy Coleman-5109 09:59, 15 July 2015 (EDT)
