Biography

For much of his life he was known as "Frank Knapp". He was given to the Knapp's to raise and lived with them many of his childhood years.

The Knapp's were his mother's sister and her husband who weren't able to have their own children.

In the 1910 Census he is listed as living with the Knapp's and it says he is their adopted son. He was never really adopted... he was more "shared".
