Elizabeth is mentioned in her father's will and isn't of legal age when it was written in 1833. If the children are mentioned according to age, she's the third youngest. It is assumed she is a child of his first wife, Elizabeth (Bell) Elliott, primarily because of her given name. Her year of birth is unknown but would have been before her assumed mother's death year. [1]
Elizabeth Elliott was born in Montgomery County, Virginia and married William Sarles (Surls) on August 22 or 27, 1835. She died 1836 in Illinois.[2]
NOTE: Haven't found her marriage record but her husband William Sarles/Surles/Searles remarried [1] (William Sarles and Sarah Ann Stevens Or Modglin, 29 Nov 1836; Greene County, Illinois) and he was buried near the area Elizabeth's brothers Lewis and Jonathan moved to in Jersey County Illinois [2]
