She was the daughter of William Faircloth and Dicie Hendrix.
Stokes Co. NC marriage bond 7 Dec 1842.
Obituary, Winston-Salem Journal October 27, 1911 - Mrs. Sarah Holder died after falling down the back porch steps at the home of her niece Mrs. S.H. Taylor. She had gone out to feed the dog. She was 81 years old, widow of Henry Holder of Yadkin County who died several years ago. Survivors included a nephew in Asheville, other relatives in Yadkin County, not named. She was a member of Centenary Church.
