[FARNSWORTH], Benjamin, born 06 Nov 1657, married 1695, Mary Prescott, born February 3, 1674, daughter of Jones and Mary (Loker) Prescott. [1] Note: Chute lists his birth as "about 1654". Most researchers have given Benjamin a birth date in November 1657. If that is correct, he is a twin to brother Joseph. Mary Farr is said to have had twins before her marriage to Mathias. Benjamin's birth year has been variously given as 1655, 1657, and 1667---in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts Bay or in Groton, Middlesex. Mother is either Abigail or Mary Farnsworth, depending on the correct year of birth. This is something that needs to be sorted out.

Father Matthias removed to Groton Abt 1660, Wife Mary dies 1716 -17, places 1st 5 children not born in Groton.
