Will

Isaac signed his will on 7 Aug 1788 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.^[2] The will was entered into probate on 21 Sep 1790 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.^[3] Note: Although a loose paper shows the will was recorded in Book B.057, that is the page for his inventory and Appraisement. The will appears not to be recorded. In a sale, Jerusha was referred to as Admr. which would indicate there is no will recorded. It appears that the Court either did not accept the will; or it the clerk, simply failed to record it.

Isaac was born in 1757. He passed away in 1788.

Jerusha Farris, widow of Isaac Farris, James Bird & his wife Susanna (>21), John Thomas Farris (<21), Elizabeth Farris (<21), George Washington Farris (<21), Wilmoth Farris (<21) & Isaac Farris (<21). heirs of Isaac Farris, dec’d., of Lincoln County, Kentucky; (Commissioners for minor heirs); and John Boman of Mercer, KY to Thomas Nicholson, of Jessamine Co. .On 4 Sep 1786 Isaac Farris, with Nathan Farris, security signed a bond for title. He died before satisfying the bond. This deed is to satisfy the bond. (The abstract copied was incomplete, leaving off a description of the land and the recording information.) ^[6]
