Fea-60 and Fea-47 are not ready to be merged because: There is no evidence that Fea-60 was born in 1732 or to the same parents. If more evidence is found linking her to Fea-47, happy to merge them.
Hi Janne, Fea-47 is in my tree. It wasn't imported with any resources, but I had seen the resources before I created the profile on ancestry. I added the Scotland Births and Baptism source to Wiki today to improve the profile. This christening happened in Tingwall, along with the christenings of siblings, and the marriage of her sister (my link). The suggestion is to merge Fea-47 with Fea-60. I don't know anything about Fea-60, except what is shown on the profile. The date for the christening given is the same as Fea-47, but it is not clear why. My thoughts are that someone accepted a hint on ancestry without checking it. The locations of these two families do not match up.
I can't see any information as to why Fea-60 has been given this date of birth. There is no marriage certificate cited, or anything that would indicate that she was the same Barbara born in 1732. While possible, as this Barbara Fea-60 got married in 1759, they lived in different villages. So I am not convinced they are the same person. There was another Barbara Fea who married a Adam Aitken in Shetland around the same time. It could be her instead, or another option that records no longer exist for.
Lisa, this profile was imported with the date of birth given. It has not been edited. Was the baptismal record imported when you created the profile? I don't see that it was added in the changes page.
