MRS BRIDGET CASSIDY.
The death of Mrs. Bridget Cassidy, wife of Mr. Edward Cassidy, of Deepwater, took place on the 15th ult. She was the second daughter of the late John and Sarah Finnegan, who were amongst the pioneers of the Armidale district. She was married to Mr. Cassidy in May, 1867, by the late Dean Lynch, the issue of the marriage being three sons and three daughters, the latter all being married. Until a few months ago deceased was active, and able to aid her husband in his business. She was a model mother, and was noted for her many acts of kindness. The remains were taken to St. Michael's Church, where the Rev. Father C. Smiers officiated. They were then carried to the cemetery by sympathisers, a large concourse of mourners following them. Father Smiers read the prayers at the graveside, Many beautiful floral offerings and messages of sympathy were received by the relatives. — R.I.P.
