John C. Firestone was born, probably Wayne County, Ohio, 12 April 1819, the son of George Firestone and his wife, Rebecca Carle. He died East Union Township, 24 July 1848.[1][2]
John C. Firestone married in Wayne County, 25 August 1842, Mary Lawrence.[3] She was born near Wooster, Wayne County, 21 April 1822, the daughter of John and Nancy (_____) Lawrence, and died in Clinton Township, Fulton County, Ohio, 9 March 1912.[4][5] Mary (Lawrence) Firestone married (2) in Wayne County, 29 January 1853, Rollin Loveland.[6]
In the 1850 census, John's widow, Mary, was enumerated with their children at East Union Township, Wayne County.[7]
