Laurentius/Lorentz/Lawrence Fischer was born about 1702, most probably in the village of Gondelsheim (24 km northeast of Karlsruhe). He was the son of Sebastian Fisher and Susanna Brackhen.
Baptism: Laurentius Fischer, son of Hannß Sebastian Fischer and Susanna Bracken, was born 27 Sep 1702.[1][2][3]
Confirmation: 1720 at Tschoghari in Weisersdorf[4]. NOTE: if he was born in 1702, it seems unlikely that he was confirmed at age 18 instead of the usual 14. Perhaps one of the records refers to a different person?
1723: Lorentz Fisher migrates from New York to Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania, with his parents
~1730: The farm of Lorentz Fischer appears on the Lindemuth Map, next to his father Sebastian.
1732: Lorentz Fischer appear on the tax list for Tulpehocken Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
He died about 1753. Apparently he left a will, not yet located.
