Biography

Jonathan Fitz Randolph was born January 12, 1691 in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey, the son of Thomas Fitz Randolph and Elizabeth Manning. About 1715, he married Mary Bonham (b. 1691, she died before her husband's will dated February 25,1779); they had eleven known children.

He died between July 1782, when he was taxed in Piscataway, and 05 June 1783 when his will was proved.[1]

It is assumed that he died in May 1783 and was buried in the St James Episcopal cemeter in Edison where his parents and other family members are buried.[2]

Children

The children of Jonathan and Mary (Bonham) Fitzrandolph were born at Piscataway. Since Mary was born 1791, the last few children may be by a second wife although there is no evidence of another wife. Many of these children were not named in their father's will and may have died young:[1]
