State of South Carolina Dr. -"After the seige of 86 to Reuban Flanigan for repairing guns for publick use to Rubin Flannagan and no satisfaction nor restitution received for ammo. Certified by me. Levi Casey, Col."

"Rauban Flannagan, also, served in the Cherokee Expedition, 1759/60 under Capt. Edward Musgrove under the command of Col. John Chevillette."[1]
