I'm Rachel, a psychology student and a huge nerd interested in my familial stories. I'm a huge proponent of open source programs, and I hope wiki-tree will help me access information in a responsible and historically reverent way.

I grew up in Carmi, Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My mother is Nina Lee Britt-Fleming, and grew up in Patoka, Illinois, with her family centered in Marion County. She is a brilliant and compassionate woman.

My father was Roy Daniel Fleming, and grew up between Panola County, Texas, and Hamilton and White County Illinois. He retired as a Major in the Army in 1995, and died from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2008.
